Grocery List April 17 & happy birthday mom

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!! I love you very much and I hope you have a WONDERFUL day J

In case you didn't get the message, it is my mom's birthday. When my sister, brother and I were kids, we never knew how old she was so we would always put "HAPPY 32nd BIRTHDAY" on her cake – even though I do know how old she is now I will keep up with the tradition on Happy 32nd birthday!!

There isn't much on my list this week because there were not very many good deals and I need diapers and laundry detergent – both of which cost a little bit more.

  1. Happy 32nd Birthday Mum! You know, she really never minded that we could never remember how old she was.
Question for you Mrs. Frugal Fugal: Have you any experience making your own laundry soap? I've been reading about it on other money-saving blogs and in theory it sounds simple enough, but I wonder if it works as well? Do clothes smell as nice? Will it get out the tough grease from the welding shop? Please let me know if you have opinions or experience on this. Thanks.

  2. I'm sorry I do not have any experiance with this. I really like the Arm & Hammer powder -for the big box it is about $14.00 and last me about a 6-8 weeks (depending if it is summer or winter). I would love to hear if making your own works and is it worth the price? Please let us know!
